New projects
Poland’s entry into the European Union in 2004, and the organization of the Polish Season in France “Nova Polska” on this occasion, enabled the Lez’arts interventions association to organize several exhibitions of Witold Januszewski’s work in Paris and the South of France.
From 2007 to 2010, thanks to a fruitful collaboration with art historian Ewa Bobrowska, and the support of institutions, art lovers, and numerous friends, a series of exhibitions by Witold Januszewski was organized for the first time in Poland at national and regional museums in Warsaw, Kielce, Torun, and Bialystok.
The reactions to these exhibitions were very favorable from the art world, the Polish media, and representatives of the French Embassy in Poland.
In 2014 and 2015, two new exhibitions were held in two Parisian hotspots of Polish culture and art: the Polish Library of Paris on the Île St. Louis, and the Galerie Roi Doré located in the Marais district of Paris, a must-see for art lovers, with its large number of contemporary art galleries.
Today, we aim to continue our work promoting the work of Witold Januszewski, particularly through a new series of exhibitions and the creation of a « catalogue raisonné » of the artist.
